A Life on Earth looks back on a career in life.
-Snapshots of thoughts and feelings expressed through song and story.
Enjoy wonderful moments from the great musicals brought to life by the man who has lived them all. Les Miserable, Aspects of Love, West Side Story, Chicago, Camelot, Guys and Dolls and The Phantom of the Opera…..to name a few!

Experience the journey of a boy from Tamworth who ventured into the unknown. Sydney, London, Dunedoo, Madrid, Gunnedah and
Guyra - a round trip.

“Despite our differences our lives are connected by the fleeting recognition of something in common- love, loss, God, children, fathers, fishing, flowers, the theatre, dreams, family, Max Factor.....!

The bits and pieces of my life are no more or less interesting than those of anyone else. I sing to reveal something of myself and by doing so hope to entertain you with a laugh or a cry, maybe strike a chord or two and perhaps even inspire you to reflect on your own Life on Earth.” Peter Cousens

FLOYD COLLINS
I want to let you know that I will be performing the role of Floyd in the concert version of Floyd Collins on
Monday 3rd May at The City Recital Hall, Angel Place.
Floyd Collins is an extraordiary musical written by Adam Guettel whose exalted and eclectic musical lineage (he is the grandson of Richard Rodgers, son of composer Mary Rodgers,
producer of Oscar Hammerstein) inspired him to juxtapose bluegrass, folk, Broadway and jazz against opera and contemporary classical dissonance. The result is a dynamic and rare mix of musical styles.
The concert also features Michael Falzon (currently starring in We Will Rock You in the UK) and Trish Crowe, Phillip Hinton, Queenie van de Zandt, Nick Simpson Deeks, James Millar, Peter Meredith, Elliot Weston, Andrew Conaghan and Phillip Dodd.
The performers are not being paid. It will be a real labour of love.
Madness I know but worth it to bring this inpired piece to life.
That being the case I can't offer you any deal on the tickets but I implore you not to miss it.

Peter Cousens sings The Billy Joel Songbook
Peter sings The Billy Joel Songbook of his generation- with Anne- Maree McDonald on piano and MD. Not a tribute to Billy but more a look at what these songs meant at the time and what they mean now. Back then choices were being made and hearts broken for the first time. The times were volatile and they still are. Nothing ever changes except how you see things- "They say that these are not the best of times but they're the only times I've ever known" Billy Joel. Look out for Peter Cousens singing the Billy Joel Songbook.
